2. Nature of the Service
Genox decodes raw DNA data files (e.g., from 23andMe) and presents publicly available genomic information from sources including GWAS (Genome-Wide Association Studies), SNPedia, and ClinVar. The Service is strictly informational and educational.
3. No Medical Advice
Genox is not a medical device, healthcare provider, or licensed medical service. The information provided is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. You must not make any medical decisions based solely on information from this platform. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider.
4. Accuracy and Limitations of Data
The genetic interpretations presented on Genox are based on publicly available research databases and may be incomplete, outdated, or subject to scientific debate. Key limitations include:
- Genomic research is an evolving field — associations reported today may be revised or retracted tomorrow.
- Results reflect population-level statistics and may not accurately predict individual outcomes.
- Data sourced from GWAS, SNPedia, and ClinVar is provided as-is, without guarantee of completeness or accuracy.
- Not all genetic variants are covered or interpreted.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Genox and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on any information obtained through the platform, medical decisions, or personal choices made based on results.
6. Your Data
Your uploaded genetic file is processed solely to generate your results. It is not permanently stored on our servers after processing is complete. We do not sell or share your raw genetic data with third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

You may use Genox for personal, educational, and research purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract proprietary algorithms.
- Upload files you do not own or have authorization to upload.
- Represent Genox output as certified medical results.
